Thousands Turn Out for Weekend of Highlights

Cbus Property was proud to present one of Epping’s biggest ever festivals, The Langston Weekender, over three days from 30 November – 2 December.

Held on the site of the future Langston precinct, between Langston Place and Chambers Court in Epping, The Langston Weekender festival brought a fantastic lineup of food and beverage titans to north-west Sydney, including Knafeh, Koi Dessert Bar, Brickfields Bakery, Olsson’s Salt, Bretzelwagen, Adamo’s Pasta, Satriale’s Deli, Sparky’s Jerk Barbecue, Mecca Coffee and Choux Patisserie.

Over 4,600 locals and visitors turned out over the weekend to enjoy the summer sunshine and some great food, drinks and music. A real highlight was the impromptu collaboration between Knafeh and foodie DJ Andrew Levins, which got pulses racing.

Another feature was the live art performed by Andrew Dennis, who transformed the pumphouse facility in front of The Langston with a colourful mural, while Zara Pasfield’s unique art installations enlivened the walkway that runs through the site.

Community market stalls, kids’ entertainment and educational workshops also drew crowds over the course of the weekend, while over $200 was raised for Save The Bees, courtesy of our stall selling the AMAZING HONEY from Hutchinson Builders.

We enjoyed and sincerely appreciated receiving your feedback at our community engagement stall, with lots of great suggestions about what you want to see on the site of The Langston.

We’re committed to making The Langston into Epping’s best place to live, and we’re looking forward to getting started on this landmark residential mixed-use and public domain enhancement project, with ground works commencing in early 2019.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to email us on COMMUNITY@THELANGSTONEPPING.COM.
